HIGHLIGHTS
- Excellent location and low cost exploration.
- High-grade gold system untested at depth and along strike.
- District-scale with multi-deposit potential.
- Executing a fully funded and permitted +60,000 metre drill program.
BACKGROUND
The project is located in Belleterre Quebec, 95 kilometers south of Rouyn-Noranda, within the prolific Abitibi-Temiscamingue region, providing competitive exploration costs and exceptional access to key resources.
Vior has assembled a district scale land package consisting of 1,195 claims covering over 670 sq. km within the Belleterre Greenstone Belt region.
The Belleterre Gold Project included 635 claims covering ~350 km.sq. (overlap with Belleterre Critical Minerals project)
The area has been under explored for the past 60 years and has never been the subject of such significant consolidation by previous holders.
GEOLOGY
Vior’s land package encompasses the majority of the gold rich Belleterre volcano-sedimentary belt and includes:
Belleterre Gold Mine Trend
-
- Hosts the former high-grade Belleterre Gold Mine that has produced 750,000 oz. Au at 10.7 g/t and 95,000 oz. Ag between 1936 and 1959.
- The trend extends over 6km with the presence of several high-grade gold showings on the project and its surrounding area, such as the Conway, Paquin, Audrey and Blondeau veins, as well as the Aubelle deposit.
Advanced Brownfield Gold and Multi-Metal Targets
- Drill ready showings and targets different types of mineralization including:
- Orogenic vein and shear associated gold
- VMS Cu-Pb-Zn mineralization
- Telluride alkaline vein-type on multi-kilometers gold potential deformation zones.
- Exhalative Cu-Zn-Au-Ag
- BIF-related gold
Greenfield Gold and Multi-Metal Prospects
- Fertile greenfield regional targets identified as area of significant gold exploration potential.
- Belleterre Mine Analog Areas
- Devlin felsic intrusion-related gold signal
- Pontiac sedimentary
NEXT STEPS
- Vior has commenced a fully funded and permitted +60,000m drill program focused on the extension of known mineralization with in the Belleterre Mine Trend and brownfield regional targets.
- Continued regional mapping and prospecting within the greenfield region.
